About the Opportunity:
- Advanced cardiac program offers minimally invasive procedures, TAVR, CABG, robotic surgery, lung procedures and more.
- Four PA team supports three talented surgeons.
- Responsibilities include first assist, post-op care with ICU management, and clinic.
- Monday – Friday schedule with 1:4 call.

Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
- Two years of CT surgery PA experience preferred.
- Position-specific knowledge and skills required:
- Proficient with saphenous vein harvest (open and endoscopic) and tube thoracostomy
- Management of ventilators and critically ill patients
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in titrating inotropic and pressor medications
- Efficient with placement of central lines, arterial lines (femoral, radial), Swan-Ganz catheters, and chest tubes
- Unrestricted NC Physician Assistant license, NC DEA, and ACLS certification through AHA required.
