Job Description
Full time position to replace a retiring cardiologist - Apelfeltz. He has a high class clientele!
Hospital Employed
No cath lab
Teaching Hospital
Procedures – Exercise stress test, stress echo, echo, nuclear myocardial perfusion
Weekday call approximately one day per week. Weekend call rotation approximately every 6 weeks.
Approximately 20 patients per day
There is PA support and a hospitalist program
Base plus production - potential approx. 400K
The candidate should be dedicated to creating incremental volume in a practice that is already thriving. Should be prepared to serve a patient population that includes a significant volume of affluent individuals. The candidate should be prepared to participate in community patient education events.
The opportunity at Mercy provides cardiologists to assume responsibilities for a thriving practice and continue to grow that practice. There is opportunity for work/life balance as the call rotations are minimal. There are no call outs for cardiac caths in the late night hours and weekend call is not strenuous.
