Gi si a little bit more tricky.  There is one private group in town, there are two docs in town who have been I nteh community a long time.  Third provider left for family reasons - she wanted to move back where they were from.  At Kings (sister hospital) - their GI, who is based from Gastonia, has been covering the call here.  This would either be to join a private practice - financially they are fine in their group as long as the gastonia doc will cover - but they are willing to start a practice for someone and employ.  This will be a collegial call group with the existing practice.

 

Some people are - leery of that, worrying it will  be a turf battle but it wont be.  Same as the solo neuro - he didn’t want a colleague,  but wanted hospital to bring others in.

 

10 days/mon call.  Can be Inncome guaranteed or employed.  MGMA.  WRVU productivity upside.  They have ERCP equipment, - they do ERCP, EGD Pegs, Flex sig, the standard stuff.  They are not using EUS now, but its possible if it makes sense could add the equipment.  They use hospital endo suite, and there is an ambulatory center across st that is used - its hospital owned too.
